Parent Visas

Australian Permanent residents and Australian citizens are given the opportunity to sponsor their parents to migrate to Australia.

In order meet the criteria for this category you must be a parent of an Australian citizen or a permanent resident who have lived in Australia for at least two years. You will also have to have an assurer, who provides an assurance of support. Furthermore, you must be able to meet the balance of family test. The balance of family test needs you to have equal to or a greater number of children living permanently in Australia than any other country or countries overseas.

Partner Visas

This visa allows Australian citizens, permanent residents and eligible New Zealand citizens to sponsor their partners to migrate to Australia. To be eligible for these visas you must be in a genuine relationship with your partner. That is be married, engaged or in a de facto relationship. You will have to provide sufficient evidence of a genuine and ongoing relationship with your partner. Taking all documentation into consideration if your application is approved you will be granted a provisional visa for two years after which a permanent visa would be granted. In some instances, you may be granted a permanent residency without having to go through a provisional visa.

Spouse Visa – (Subclass 309/100 and Subclass 820/801)

Fiancé visa / Prospective marriage visa – (Subclass 300)
